Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte: Progress based on Tradition

Ever since its initiation, tradition and progress have been combined at Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte in the exploration of new markets as well as in the search for improved materials and more efficient production processes: It is a question of successfully merging knowledge based on the experience of the past with new approaches in order to cope effectively with the future.

Newer examples for this are the VARP – converter as well as the cast nodes for the roofs of stadiums in steel castings and the main frames and rotor hubs of the 5MW-class for offshore wind parks in iron castings.

Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte has always played an active role in shaping technical and social change. This has contributed to the company’s successful development over 200 years.

We consider it to be our mission as well as our obligation to actively pursue this spirit as we enter the third century in the history of Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte. As part of the Georgsmarienhütte Group, we now wish to continue into the next episode of the Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte success story.
