New turbine housing for General Electric FWH · · At the end of last year, Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte GmbH (FWH) started to supply prototypes to General Electric (USA): six different housing and bearing components for the new LMS 100 gas turbine. Following smooth assembly and a successful trial run, the customer gave the go-ahead.
FWH · Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte GmbH has received an award as an ECO-PROFIT company. This particular ECO-PROFIT award distinguishes the fact that during the project, companies, communities and consultants cooperate closely. And the regional Chamber of Commerce was also incorporated in the management and organisation of the project on site.
FWH · For eight new trainees at Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte GmbH, their working lives were kick-started on 1 September in the form of an introductory seminar in the Simmerath-Rurberg youth hostel. The aim was to enable them to get to know each other before commencing training. The first day was characterised by the motto of "Gemeinsam geht’s besser” (Working together is better). Supplied with and managed by a trainer, they made their way through the woods to the training area accompanied by glorious Eifel weather.
